I profess this book is not of the conventional type. I could not put what I have written in any order, as there was no order in my life. I could not change the events, only how I coped with them.
My hearfelt gratitude to the many friends whose love and support made the journey more bearable as each of us were coping with a loved one's illness with cancer. Modern science has made excellent progress over this illness, and recovery and remission no longer denied us. So participate in your loved one's life and memory with Love, Laughter and Prayer.
There were many who left our lives: Too sudden, always too soon. To those who are bravely facing their challenge today, I pray for their recovery as granted to my son. May God bless you in yours.
